Black Lives Matter - Bandcamp Donations

Where words cannot encompass a particular sentiment, in times of strife many have looked to music to cope. A song’s color and tone can provide a sense of comfort. Expressive strings and powerful vocals can pierce one’s core. A track can become an anthem, empowering one through heartache, sending vibrations for a call to action and sonic guidance.

In solidarity with the anti-racism movements across the globe, the team at Natural Music has put together a playlist of songs that feel reflective of the times. The theme is of power, racial identity, and institutional change. We hope you enjoy, and we hope it inspires not only introspection, but action and accountability.

This Friday, June 5th, from midnight to midnight Pacific Time, Bandcamp will be waiving it’s share of the revenue for purchases. Many labels have committed to giving their proceeds to Black Lives Matter groups, anti-racism organizations, and local bail funds.
